Community CARES Morning of Service – On Saturday, June 7, from 8:30 to 12:30 Carlisle Bridgebuilders and Second Church will be working together at Community CARES, 50 West Penn St, Carlisle. 

 

All ages are welcome – Shine! kids are coming, too. 

 

We’ll celebrate our accomplishments with pizza. Bring a friend and expect to make a friend as you work side by side.  Community CARES provides shelter and other vital resources to people in need in our area. Dress to get dirty.

 

We Will Be Doing:  

• Landscaping: We are going to mulch, possible ground cover and bushes for the side of the building. We would need people to bring shovels, rakes, and/or hoes to help us with this landscaping.

• Power: Wash: We can provide the water if someone has one or two power wash tools that they would be willing to use to clean our building

• Painting: We will have the paint, but if your crew could bring brushes, rollers and pans, that would be great. Our goal is to paint our hallways, lobby, and kitchen area. We will have one group start on the hallways, while the other group preps the gathering area (kitchen) and all hands-on deck to finish the gathering room.
